CHEVELLE HANGS THROTTLE BLOWS TIRES AT 150+MPH

Drag racing at speeds topping 150mph can prove to be the ultimate adrenaline rush as you blitz to the finish line, attempting to beat out the guy in the next lane.

While that adrenaline rush is welcome, what happened to Tim Albright and his Pro Street Chevrolet Chevelle wasn’t so very welcome, necessarily.

After Tim’s pass was over, his nitrous system decided to stay on, propelling him forward while his brakes locked up for what reason we aren’t really sure. What we do now is that the car continued to move forward, skating on the front tires and eventually popping them.

Check out the scary situation for yourself in the video below as the car comes to a screeching halt. Luckily, Tim was able to stay out of the walls as the situation could have gone way worse than it did.
